Day 18 - 325km - Cork

Our host in B&B had a restaurant before, and it really showed - the food was delicious. She showed us some videos of interesting landmarks around the area so after saying goodbye we went to the Muckross Abbey.

Then it was time for lunch and visiting another brewery - Franciscan Well in Cork. Their Shandon stout, for me, was better than much more famous Guinness stout.

Ofcourse, a day can't pass without a castle. Blackrock Castle has an observatory, an interactive astronomy center which is open to public.

Last stop for today, before trying to find some B&B, was Hook Lighthouse built in 12th century - one of the oldest lighthouses in the world, and the oldest operating lighthouse in the world. It was interesting to be here during bad weather.
