Day 13 - 405km - Glasgow

Our destination for today is Cairnryan, from there we will go to N. Ireland (ferry, you guessed it). But there is a lot to see in between. Day was very sunny and we were eager to get going - we have many kilometers to pass today.

Near Inveraray we passed many oldtimers, probably they had a gathering. Road that we were driving on was closed by cops almost just infront of us so we took a "shortcut" and ended up on a small road, going up and down, up and down, ... Somewhere in the middle of that road we saw two sheep ahead, and they saw us. And they didn't move. We looked at them, they looked at us. As we were getting closer, they still didn't move. It was like they were playing chicken with us - the first who moves loses. Eventually we slowed down so they figured they won and hapilly moved from the road.

interesting building, forgot where we saw it

After few hours of driving, we arrived in Glasgow. There is a free motorcycle parking place in the town's center. Ofcourse, wherever there is Hard Rock Cafe, it is also in the center so that was our stop for lunch. It turned out that today they were celebrating 45 years since opening so waiters were dressed up like it was '71., everything was decorated and burgers were a bargain. After lunch we went for some shopping and bought merino/kashmir blankets.

After Glasgow, back on the road until we reached Stranraer, a town near Cairnryan. There we found most charming camp with cats, rabbits... (Aird Donald Caravan Park)
