Day 15 - 380km - Ireland

Morning was cold with a bit of rain. First stop - Londonderry. We warmed up a little with tea in a small caffe just around the corner of Londonderry's 17th century cannons.

Transition to Ireland was quite obvious - all of a sudden the roads were worse, road signalization also, nature was different - trees and overgrown grass everywhere. The more we went to the west, the more did the wind blew and was colder. Also, less and less bikes on the road, we hardly saw any. At least the beaches were nicer. Had a lunch stop in Westport, and visited Kylemore Abbey.

Tonight we are sleeping in eco-beach camp north of Clifden. Another camp with an ocean view, this time without the sheep. But with a lot of wind. Those blankets we bought in Glasgow really prooved themselves, we would freeze without them.
